Standard double room was newly renovated and well laid out. The breakfast was reasonable and substantial for our taste and had a good choice of food. The personnel was hospitable and amazing friendly.

- I really cannot think of one thing ..
- Breakfast was appalling . - gym equipment was either in a dangereous state to use or simply was in need of repair to be used .. e.g treadmill - why are you charging for wireless connection when it is continully on ?.. would be a welcome customer service on an island (Singapore) that is "wired up" - some towels & sheets were worn with holes in them ?.. - the meagre coffee satchels .. were not replenished everyday . - the swimming pool, I would doubt would pass hygene standards-- dirty water.. yuk !. - the price was exorbedant -- terrible really ~S$200 /night .. what an insult !.

The food is outstanding with plenty of options, including butter, toast and cereal. It offers normal double rooms, and has excellent friendly staff from the night shift.

Getting from hotel to other locations is relatively easy. Value for money is okay (except for the Continental Breakfast).
Comfort Room is too small. Design is quite barbaric; not appealing to the eye. The continental breakfast is not okay. Everyday is same selection of food. Everyday is hotdog day!!! Please add variety. Or at least everyday, change the selection. There are alot of options for continental breakfast (I.E. bakon, ham, sausages).

The hotel staff was obviously not accommodating. This hotel was very strict when it comes to their check-in time! Coming from a very tiring trip, a tourist/vacationer would simply want to freshen up, unpack and explore the city right away! They made us wait at their lobby or dining area until its check-in time. But one can immediately go in though (even for 2 hours stay) after paying for a full-day rate! And their lobby? It is a measly 6 to 8sqm! That is also where the baggage counter and rented computers are located. They have lots of long cracks in their dining area. I have pictures to show to show if you like. Does the Singaporean government have regulations regarding issuance of permits to unsafe establishments like this?! Yes they serve breakfast. Chicken sausage, beans, egg, rice, cereals, coffee, orange juice and that’s it! The same thing every morning! The woman serving breakfast is certainly an unhappy worker. She kept banging the utensils and dinnerware like she’s having her worst day of her life… everyday! And she’s not wearing a hairnet. The door of our toilet is broken and the safety deposit box does not work. See room 616. The swimming pool area is unkempt. You will see it when you get there. Immediately after booking, I emailed them so that I can get a queen-sized bed in a non-smoking area. They never replied. But the guy in the front desk said they read my email. This is probably the worst hotel I have been to. I am not saying this to ruin the hotel but hey, we paid them hoping that we will get our moneys worth. This is just an objective assessment of this over-rated 3-star hotel. Attention hotel management. This is your wake up call.

Really enjoyed this good budget hotel, couldn't recommend more. All in all everything was modern, had a very enjoyable stay on holidays. We ate at a good restaurant for Lunch or Dinner. There was a wide array of food for breakfast, including butter, toast and cereal. The location was stunning, 500 metres away from the metro. Spent a nice evening at Porta, located next to the venue.
